The procedure for obtaining a certificate of need for test samples is the same as the procedure for requesting testing plus attaching a Letter of Request for Need for Test Samples

The number of devices required is 1 (one) or more, at the request of BBPPT and accompanied by a photo of the device

The LHU can be downloaded at SIMPEL via the applicant's account after notification that testing has been completed.

Testing rates depend on the features of a telecommunications device. The tariff reference has been regulated in Government Regulation Number 80 of 2015 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue within the Ministry of Communication and Information. The cost simulation can be seen on the website http://bbppt.postel.go.id/ jasa/tarif_uji

LHU downloaded via SIMPEL must not be compressed or edited because it will remove the digital signature on the LHU.

When verifying the function, the applicant is required to bring a test sample as uploaded by the applicant at the beginning of the application and other necessary equipment or support.

Currently, the Telecommunication Equipment Testing Center can only carry out conducted emission testing.

Please contact the Directorate of Standardization to obtain a Letter of Recommendation.

The current information system for testing services is SIMPEL, replacing the old information system, namely SIP2TEL, so that accounts on SIP2TEL are no longer valid.

The Telecommunications Equipment Testing Center can accept Class I and Class II tests by considering laboratory capacity. Rates and times are in accordance with Article 12 of Government Regulation Number 80 of 2015 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue within the Ministry of Communication and Information.

Test Mode refers to a specific operational state or configuration in which a system or device is used for testing purposes rather than normal operation. It enables developers, engineers, users, or testers to evaluate and verify the functionality, performance, or compatibility of a product or device. Test Mode is usually software that forces the device to transmit on a certain frequency.
